Dr. Simine Vazire holds a PhD in Psychology and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at UC Davis. She is a co-founder and inaugural President of the Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science, a professional society dedicated to improving methods and practices in the field of psychology. She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences study committee on reproducibility and replicability, as well an affiliate of the Meta-research Innovation Center at Stanford and the Data Science Initiative at UC Davis. She is also a co-host of theblackgoatpodcast, a podcast where three psychologists talk about doing science.
